We are excited to have AmeriCorps Reading and Math awarded to Cleveland School

Enrichment Tutor – Minnesota Reading & Math Corps

Training -  August  15, 16, 17, 18, 2016

Have you ever wanted to work at Cleveland School? Here's your chance to achieve something really great! You can help our youth succeed in school by giving them the extra support they need in reading and math . Whether you’re looking to explore a new career in education, reenter the workforce or simply want to work with kids, you can make a direct impact by serving one year.

Minnesota Corps will train more than 100 tutors in reading and math to directly impact  K-Grade 3 grade students in schools across Minnesota. As a tutor, you will be trained to implement research-based methods, monitor progress and help students believe in themselves and succeed—all while building your own skills and professional network.

During your eleven-month AmeriCorps service, you’ll receive extensive training, support and general professional development opportunities. In addition, you will receive a modest living allowance of about $272.00 bi weekly (half-time) and $544.00 bi-weekly (full time) and other benefits if eligible. Strong preference is given to applicants who can begin on time. Limited make up trainings will be available to late start tutors.
